Outbound vistas is the blog of a middle-aged couple that loves travel, hiking, backpacking, food, climbing, equestrian pursuits (at least one of us) and all things outdoors. We have traveled together across Europe and the United States and have spent more than 60 days in the greater Yellowstone ecosystems, more than 6 months in our travel trailer, and uncounted days on the trail.

Colorado-based, we spend much of our summer in the Rocky Mountains and love our time above 6000 feet.
